Since it's now too unfriendly outside to do any biking, I've decided to start doing some exercise around my house. I picked up an Iron Gym (As Seen on TV! "Get Strong... Get Ripped... Quick! FREE Ab Strap!") so I have a chin-up bar. I'm in the process of building a workout based on the stuff at Indoor Climbing.com. Tonight I started with some chin-ups and a series of dead hangs. I'm also going to try to do a few sit-ups and push-ups in the morning, but those aren't as important. I'm really trying to accomplish two things: 1) establish a simple, effective, daily routine, and 2) do workouts that will build strength and endurance in places that will benefit rock climbing.
